3 Portrait Shark Paradise Frames Triptych.

This triptych is made of one paradise design with sharks, spread over 3 frames, they illustrate a close-up of a beach scene with the turquoise/blue seabed and foam of the water coming onto the sandy beach using low relief, colours and various processes to accentuate the motion of the sea. The 3 sharks swimming across are back painted in shimmering silver amongst shoals of fish. Some parts of the panels are slightly translucent, the sea is fading from blue to turquoise. The texture is applied to the back of the glass panel creating shadows to the front, you can really see the ripple effect of sea on the top half of the glass art. You can also see that the relief makes the design look different depending on the angle you look at it. The beach/sand is more opaque. The signature is at the right bottom corner of the right panel.

DIMENSIONS: OVERALL WIDTH is 90cm (36") + gaps - Each frame is 30x60cm - 12x23" | The front of the panel is smooth. Each frame weighs 5kg.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

CONTAINS: 3 Shark Paradise Frame Portrait (each frame 30x60cm - 12x23" with the design following across the 3 frames, the glass artwork is framed in. The frame is a box frame and ready to hang on the wall with a cable going across.
