These glass panels are a gorgeous large statement to hang on the wall in your home or to offer as a present, it is inspired by Old Harry's Rock in Dorset, UK, view from Poole Harbour.
The glass is slightly translucent, the colours are different shades of blues and turquoises in the sea and seagull in the sky, the design follows through over the 3 panels, they can be more apart from one another. You can choose to have the sun in the middle panel. This item contains 3 wall panels with a fused glass coastal wave design (turquoise and blue sea). The panels are supplied with 3 sets of 3 fixings (9 fixings altogether) as shown on the picture, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with the other allen key for the panel to slide in and to be tightened again, the back of the panel has a smooth surface.
*3 panels, the left panel is 40x30cm (16x12"), the middle panel is 43x30cm (17x12"), the right panel is 40x30cm (16x12") with 9 fixings.
*Total width without gap: apr. 125cm (49") | allow 2 to 5cm gaps (1 to 2") between each panel.
*This triptych illustrates a crashing wave on the coast with land on the right using low relief, colours and various processes to accentuate the movement of the wave.

*The front of the panel is highly textured and sanded in places.
FIXINGS: includes a set of 9 fixings and instructions, the wall panel will be 18mm(3/4") away from the wall, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with an allen key (provided) for the panel to slide in and to be tighten again.
After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
