This frame is a shark swimming in the sea surrounded by a shoal of fish, the sea is truqoise and blue and the shark is backpainted in silver shimmering on the front. We use textures to enhance the designs and the outlines of the sea amimal and the shoal of fish. The front of the wall panel is smooth with the texture being on the underside of the glass creating shadows on the front. The glass is slightly translucent apart from the shark that is backpainted, you can see that the relief makes the design look different depending on the angle you look at it. The glass panel in framed in.

The front of the panel is smooth and the back is textured.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

CONTAINS: 1 square shark frame in silver with blue/turquoise background. The frame is ready to hang on the wall with a cord across the back, it is a good quality wooden frame in white with a grainy effect.
