3 Portrait Shark Paradise Panels.

This triptych is made of one paradise design with sharks, spread over 3 panels, they illustrate a close-up of a beach scene with the turquoise/blue seabed and foam of the water coming onto the sandy beach using low relief, colours and various processes to accentuate the motion of the sea. The 3 sharks swimming across are back painted in shimmering silver. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent, the sea is fading from blue to turquoise. The texture is applied to the back of the glass panel creating shadows to the front, you can really see the ripple effect of sea on the top half of the glass art.l, you can also see that the relief makes the design look different depending on the angle you look at it. The beach/sand is more opaque. The signature is at the right bottom corner of the right panel.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

FIXINGS:

includes a set of 9 fixings and instructions, the wall panel will be 18mm(3/4") away from the wall, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with an allen key (provided) for the panel to slide in and to be tighten again.
