This set of 2 fused glass coasters represent an animal, 2 different ones or 2 of the same, the designs available are penguin, polar bear, seal, fox or robin. The unique design formed to the surface is an animal. The top side smooth, the underside has 4 bumpers so the coaster won't slide.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
