Seas The Moment Sun - 60x30cm(12x23 1/2")

This vibrant wavy glass panel was designed in 2020, it illustrates a rolling wave with the sky, the sun on the horizon and a sandy beach using low relief and colours to accentuate the motion of the sea and create a dramatic effect. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent and sandblasted. The sea is in shades of light blues and turquoises, the front of the panel is textured.

DIMENSIONS: The frame is 60x30cm - 23 1/2"x12" | Glass Art 50x20cm - 19 1/2x8" . The front of the panel is textured and the back is smooth.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

CONTAINS: 1 Seas The Moment Frame with the sun on the horizon (60x30cm - 23 1/2"x12" | Glass Art 50x20cm - 19 1/2x8") , the glass artwork is glued to the front of the glass of the frame. The frame is a box frame and ready to hang on the wall with a cable going across.
