This glass panel illustrates the foam coming onto the beach using colours of turquoise, white and blue. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent to let the light through when backlit or used as an ornament on the windowsill / shelf. You can also see the whitewash coming onto the beach, the colours of the sea are blue and turquoise.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
CONTAINS: 1 Freestanding Square Wave 22x20cm (8 1/2x7 3/4" ), glued to a rectangular glass foot.
