This glass frame illustrates a jellyfish using low relief and colours. The front of the wall panel is smooth with the texture being on the underside of the glass creating shadows on the front. The glass is slightly translucent and framed in, the colours are different shades of blues, turquoises and green to represent the underwater and the jellyfish has got a very light pink tint, you can see that the relief makes the design look different depending on the angle you look at it.
DIMENSIONS: Frame 25x25cm 10x 10” | Glass Art 22x22cm 8 1/2"

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
CONTAINS: Jellyfish Frame. The frame is ready to hang on the wall with a wire across the back, it is a good quality wooden frame in white with a grainy effect.
