The Left Panel illustrates the Needles on the Isle of Wight and the right panel illustrates Old Harry's Rock near Swanage, on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.

The overall width is 170cm (68 Inches) + gaps / 180cm (71") including the gaps.

The height is 60cm (24").

The overall weight of the panels is 21Kgs - Each panel weighs just under 7kgs.

These glass panels are a gorgeous large statement to hang on the wall in your home or to offer as a present, it is the largest wave triptych we currently offer.

The glass is slightly translucent, the colours are different shades of blues and turquoises in the sea and seagull in the sky, the design follows through over the 3 panels, they can be more apart from one another. You can choose to have the sun in the middle panel. This item contains 3 wall panels with a fused glass coastal wave design (turquoise and blue sea). The panels are supplied with 10 fixings as shown on the pictures, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with the other allen key for the panel to slide in and to be tightened again, the back of the panel has a smooth surface.

CONTAINS: 

*3 panels, the left panels is 55x60cm (22x24") each, the middle panel is 60x60cm (24x24"), the right panel is 55x60cm (22x24"). This triptych illustrates various waves using low relief, colours and various processes to accentuate the movement of the wave. They are inspired by the Needles on the Isle of Wight and Old Harry's Rock in Dorset. The front of the panels is highly textured and sanded in places.

*10 Fixings with allen keys and instructions.

FIXINGS: 

includes a set of 10 fixings and instructions, the wall panel will be 18mm(3/4") away from the wall, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with an allen key (provided) for the panel to slide in and to be tighten again.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
