4 Paradise Turquoise Fused Glass Coasters
4 Paradise Turquoise Fused Glass Coasters
This set of 4 coasters is inspired by my love of the natural aquatic world. The unique design formed to the surface of this turquoise aqua glass was inspired by the beach. You can see the water at the top using blue and turquoise, the foam in the middle and the sand at the bottom creating a close-up on the sea coming onto the beach. The top side smooth.
These coasters can be used for cups, warm or cold on any surface, it will stay in place thanks to the 4 bumbers on the underside of each coaster.
DIMENSIONS: 10cm | 4"
After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
CONTAINS: 4 coasters of 10cm each / 4"
