This square vibrant frame illustrates a wave in the sunrise with some land on the side using low relief, colours and various processes to accentuate the motion of the sea and birds in the sky. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent, the sea is fading from blue to turquoise. The texture is applied to the front of the panel making the art in 3D.

DIMENSIONS: The frame is 44x44cm Square - 17x17" | Glass Art Round 34cm diameter - 13" .

The front of the panel is textured and glued to the glass of the frame.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

CONTAINS: 1 Wave Square Frame (44x44cm - 17x17" | Glass Art Round 34cm - 13") , the glass artwork is glued to the front of the glass of the frame. The frame is a box frame and ready to hang on the wall with a cable going across.
